Pathway Information Now Available!

2012 Virginia Beach Zone Pathway Information is now available to be viewed under "Event Specific Downloads" on the left. 

 

UPDATE to the grid:  "2+3=3" will not be offered this weekend.  In place of that, we have "Prayer Journals - a Tool for the Journey."  Description: Does God hear our prayers?  Does He hear ANY of them? Prayer Journals are a great tool to help us remember to pray, record our prayers, and, over time, see how God answers them. Make your own prayer journal in this Pathway and see how God answers your prayers in big and small ways.

 

New Information Available!

New information is available to be downloaded!  Please be sure to check out the "Event Specific Downloads" on the left side of the page for the 2012 Virginia Beach Event Crew newsletter, as well as the area Restaurant Guide.  Copies of the Restaurant Guide will also be available on site.

 

We are finalizing the Pathway information now and will have that available to download later this week, if you want a sneak peek before the event!

Food Drive Information

As people ROOTED in Christ and “overflowing with thankfulness”, we have chosen to collect food for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia as our Zone service project. For 1 in 4 residents in Southeastern Virginia, hunger is a reality. Most are not unemployed but rather underemployed and do not earn enough to purchase adequate amounts of food for their famiies. We can work together to help the Foodbank provide for those in need. Look for specially marked collection boxes in the hotel lobby during the event registration and near the Information Booth throughout the weekend. We would love to collect 500 food items for the Foodbank!  

 

Please consider donating any of the following items:  Peanut butter, tuna, canned ham, canned chicken, beans, canned fruits & vegetables, 100% fruit juice, instant potatoes, fruit preserves, dried fruit, cereal, oatmeal, rice, whole grain crackers, pasta and sauce, boxed meals, chunky soups, stews, powdered formula, baby food, diapers, and wipes.

 

Food Drive

This year, we will be collecting food for a local food shelter.  Churches can bring non-perishable food to donate.  Please check back soon for more updates.

Jennifer Miller
Jennifer has been involved with Youth Encounter's various ministries for over 20 years, currently serving as the East Coast Event Director. Jennifer and her husband Todd moved back to Virginia in 2001 after four cold but enjoyable years in Minnesota. She enjoys music, movies, scrapbooking, traveling, hanging out with friends and family, snuggling her two kids, Sean and Liam, and being in the warm Virginia sun!
