We put our hope in the Lord.

He is our help and our shield.

- Psalm 33:20

Event Director

David Frei

David Frei is originally from the Plastics Thermoforming Capital of North America - Beaverton, Michigan. While he’s not quite sure what that means, his mother is the mayor, so he needs to make the town sound exciting. He went to St. Olaf College in Minnesota and worked for a few years as a camp director in Wisconsin. David has been known alternatively as Jethro, Plungerman, Da Ve (pronounced Dah-Vay), and sometimes even Dave. He is a big fan of dark chocolate and diet cherry sodas (yes, soda – David grew up in a “pop” town, but he changed to “soda” on purpose in 7th grade). He likes to ride his bike really far, enjoys pineapple and jalapeno on his pizza, and has pictures of his adorable son Isaiah that he would like to show you if you ask.

Speaker

Danielle Tietjen

Out of Danielle Tietjen's strong love for the Lord comes her passion for sharing the saving grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.  Dani started right out of high school sharing this message touring the Midwest on a Youth Encounter Captive Free Team.  When Captive Free was over, Dani stayed in the Twin Cities to attend Concordia University where she became a Director of Christian Outreach and continues to share that message with youth and adults alike.  Dani, her husband Paul, and two children Noah and Caleb, live in Minneapolis.  Some of Dani's favorite things are music, sports, movies and food!

Musicians

Fuller Still

Fuller Still's track record includes shows at outdoor festivals, coffee shops and nightclubs, but their real passion and vision for the future lies in performing at youth events. At events like these, the band is able to relate to young people on both a personal and professional level, first leading them in high-quality, Christ-centered music, and then meeting them face-to-face for a closer experience. When Fuller Still are guests at a youth event, something extraordinary happens: God is glorified, walls come down, and lives begin to change for the better. While self-labeled as "folk-rock," their live performances are genre-bending, energetic and interactive.
