David Frei

David Frei is originally from the Plastics Thermoforming Capital of North America - Beaverton, Michigan. While he’s not quite sure what that means, his mother is the mayor, so he needs to make the town sound exciting. He went to St. Olaf College in Minnesota and worked for a few years as a camp director in Wisconsin. David has been known alternatively as Jethro, Plungerman, Da Ve (pronounced Dah-Vay), and sometimes even Dave. He is a big fan of dark chocolate and diet cherry sodas (yes, soda – David grew up in a “pop” town, but he changed to “soda” on purpose in 7th grade). He likes to ride his bike really far, enjoys pineapple and jalapeno on his pizza, and has pictures of his adorable son Isaiah that he would like to show you if you ask.

Dan Scharnhorst

Dan Scharnhorst has been blessed with many opportunities to speak at youth conventions and gatherings all across the country. With an emphasis on Christ’s forgiveness, acceptance, grace and compassion, Dan boldly proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ through stories and humor. When Dan is not on the road, you will find him working as the Youth Ministries Coordinator at the FELC-PLC Lutheran Parish in Oshkosh, WI. He is an avid sports fan, almost to the point of immaturity, and will not miss any opportunity to live and die with the Minnesota Vikings, Twins and the Iowa State Cyclones. Dan and his wife Becky were married in November of 2001 on the shores of Jamaica and currently live in Oshkosh, WI, with their son Max and daughter Madelyn.

Infused with an energy that finds its source in their passion for bringing others closer to Jesus, Bread of Stone (BOS) an up-and-coming Christian band based out of Sioux City, Iowa with a sound all their own. Formed by two brothers Ben (vocals) and Bill Kristijanto (guitar) and later joined by friends, they have answered the call to ministry through inspiring music. With a unique blend of rock, pop, and worship, their music takes listeners on a journey through the heights and depths of the human experience.
