We put our hope in the Lord.

He is our help and our shield.

Joe Wilkinson Event Director
Born and raised in small town Wisconsin, Joe graduated from UW-Stevens Point with majors in Philosophy, Media Development, and a Psychology Minor.  During that time, Joe spent his summers working at one of the camps of Crossways Camping Ministries, doing everything from counseling to program development, to working in the kitchen.  Having just recently traversed the frozen tundra to neighboring Minnesota, Joe is excited for his opportunity to continue working in youth ministry through Youth Encounter.  Joe loves playing games (he has over 20 board games!), Ultimate Frisbee, bowling, discussing theology and philosophy, reading, and would like to some day get back into fencing.

Speaker

Josh Brecht

Josh Brecht was born and raised on a farm in the middle of Iowa.  The pigs were not bad company, but Josh wanted to see what else life had to offer.  At age 19 he grabbed a backpack and a guitar and took off.  After two summers as a camp counselor in Minnesota, a college degree, and three trips to Africa, he finally settled near Minneapolis where he now works in youth ministry.   Josh lives with his incredible wife, Gail and their son, Elijah.  As a speaker and founding member of the not-yet-world-famous band, Fuller Still, Josh hopes to share his two great passions.  The first is to spread the love of Jesus in a broken world. The second is to get all school textbooks to change the four major food groups to tacos, pizza, steak, and ice cream.

Musician

HELLOFOREVER

HELLOFOREVER exists as a band primarily to make music that glorifies God and moves others to do the same. Our goal is to create songs that are artistically unique and spiritually uplifting as well as written with a nod towards our particular passions and life experiences.

HELLOFOREVER began in 2007 as a side project for its members. Although they were members of other bands and served in different ministries at three different churches across three different denominations, they soon realized that something special was in the works and that God had brought them together for a purpose. After one summer of travel near and far, the group had grown closer together and wanted to begin to pen some original material. Feeling that God had called them to this new purpose, they overhauled the band lineup and renamed themselves.

HELLOFOREVER is now more passionate than ever about creating music that is inspiring and encouraging. We look to Christ as our Light, to Scripture as our compass, to the Spirit as our guide, and to faith as our power. Throughout various lineup changes and apellations, the goal of HELLOFOREVER has remained constant: SOLO DEI GLORIA
