Homecoming Celebration

The Youth Encounter Homecoming Celebration is a time to welcome home our ministry teams from their year-long journey of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and relational ministry.

During this day of celebration, teams will be sharing music, stories and testimonies, and displaying pictures and other aspects of their year of ministry with the greater Youth Encounter family. There will also be a raffle including items that teams have acquired during their year of ministry that are specific to their team and region of travel. Family, friends, alumni, board members, supporters, staff, and many others are invited to attend this annual celebration at Concordia Academy in Roseville, Minnesota.

There will also be an on-site lunch option for purchase and dinner outing at a local restaurant.

This year we will be welcoming back four national Captive Free teams and two international teams: New Dawn to Philippines and Taiwan and New Vision to Australia.

Homecoming is an all day event including:

Large group team celebration times in the morning and evening
Team testimony and story times
On-site lunch (for purchase)
Team Raffle
Outdoor concerts
Off-site dinner options (for purchase)

From the North/Northeast take highway 35E South to Highway 36, west on Highway 36 to Dale Street, north on Dale Street two blocks to Lovell Avenue, right on Lovell and take the first left into Concordia Academy.

From the Northwest take Highway 35W south to Highway 36, east on Highway 36 to Dale Street, north on Dale Street two blocks to Lovell Avenue, right on Lovell and take first left into Concordia Academy.

From the Southwest take 35w north to Highway 36 east. Take Highway 36 to Dale Street, north on Dale Street two blocks to Lovell Avenue, right on Lovell and take first left into Concordia Academy.

We will enjoy a picnic lunch after the morning celebration time. If you would like to join us for this meal, please reserve your lunches by filling out the form below. Lunches are $5 per meal and payment can be made the day of Homecoming, by cash or check. Extra lunches will not be ordered. Please RSVP by Friday, August 2, 2013.

If you have a son or daughter that is currently on a team, please do not count him or her toward your lunch reservation; Youth Encounter has already accounted for team members and will be providing their lunches.

Alumni, please join us in celebrating this year of Team Ministry!

Remember to wear your alumni button and join us for fun, food, fellowship, and the addition of great memories for our Youth Encounter family. If you don't have an alumni button, you can pick one up at the registration table the day of the Homecoming Celebration or by contacting Ashley Topp. She'd be happy to provide one for you!

Homecoming Raffle

We hope you will participate in this year's raffle during the Homecoming Celebration. Raffle items include souvenirs brought back by the International Teams that traveled to Philippines, Taiwan, and Australia, as well as various other items that represent the regions of the United States in which our Captive Free teams served this year.

Tickets can be purchased the day of Homecoming for a nominal fee and placed in the bowls of the items in which you hope to win. At Homecoming, a drawing will take place to determine the winners. This will be a fun and easy way to commemorate and support this year of Team Ministry with Youth Encounter.
